Imo State University (IMSU) Owerri will be graduating the ninth batch of students from her three months certificate program in Business management and Entrepreneurship. The graduation will take place at the Outreach and Consultancy Services Building of the University on Saturday, the 31st of January, 2015.

The certificate program is run by the Outreach and Consultancy Services of IMSU with Sean Cussons Business School acting acting as consulting partner has graduated people who are excelling in their various businesses as a result of practical application of knowledge they acquired from the training. The fully packed with modules that are in line with international best practices in business management training and aimed at equipping students with skills that will help them succeed in the contemporary business environment.

The consulting partner to the Program, organized a dinner in honour of the graduating students today at their business premises located at No 10 Mbari Street, Owerri.

Most of the graduating students spoke about practical application of the knowledge they acquired helped their various businesses. Mrs Adline Ajesim Nwosu, a staff of Nestle Nigeria and a professional makeup artiste shared how a simple application of the ICT skills acquired during the classes increased her income especially during the last Christmas celebrations. Proprietor of Gloriso Supermarket, Mrs Ifeoma Gloria Emodi also shared her testimonies and thanked the management for their efforts in imparting people with business managemet skills. Chairman of V-Tals group, Nnabundo Uchenna, spoke at length how application of the knowledge acquired from the modules has turned his business around.

Other guests and prospective students also thanked the management while indicating their interest to enroll in the program. One of them is a student and entrepreneur from Imo State University Owerri, Chioma Naura Nwosu. She is the Creative C.E.O of Naurachi Concepts.

Forms for the next batch are still on sale at the Imo State University Microfinance Bank, Owerri. Classes will commence on 2nd February, 2015.
