Jumia is set to take business to the next level in Owerri with the successful training and recruitment of members into their JForce program. The program enables people with access to the internet and knowledge of using a computer to easily and effortlessly make money by simply helping friends, family and other people make purchases online.

They get commission on every order they make and the commissions increase as they continue to make purchases and progress to different levels.

The lead facilitator of the training session and recruiter, Mr Kanayo Bardi also revealed that Jumia is planning to commence Pay on Delivery services in Owerri to facilitate sells. He told AlaOwerri.com that the decision came after an online poll was carried out on the towns to setup the next Pay on Delivery service and Owerri came out top of the list. He revealed the result came as a surprise to him as he expected popular  commercial cities like Aba in Abia state to have more votes. A pay on delivery service enables people to order items from Jumia online store and pay for the goods at the point of delivery. This has remained one of Jumia’s major selling points.

The training and recruitment exercise which took place at Edinburgh Hotels, Ikenegbu had many young people in attendance and a few elderly people.

According to Mr Kanayo, more people can join the JForce program to work with Jumia and receive training at their next visit which will be coming up very soon in Owerri. He was assisted in the training and recruitment exercise by Mr Tamuno John who handled the second session.
