Ahead of the 2014/2015 season, the heartland Football club of Owerri signed up new players to strengthen their team and ensure victory during their games. Revealing the identities of the new players, the Media Officer of the Club, Cajetan Nkwopara told Goal.com that the Naze Millionaires were able to attract two foreign based to streghten their team.

Ibeh John Ikechukwu joined the Club from Aris Thessaloniki (Greece) while Iniobong Joseph teamed up with Heartland from neighbouring Benin Republic where he was a player for Jeunesse Sportive.
