As Governor Rochas leads 100 man delegation to Turkey, its time for industry, industry, industry
I just recently learned that Governor Rochas Okorocha took a 100 man delegation to Turkey on a trip to discover business opportunities to bring back to the state. This is the second this is happening. Am just wondering if it really and truly takes a hundred (as in ninety nine, hundred!) people to bring home business ideas and opportunities.
In a statement made available to Guardian News, the Governors Media aide, Sam Onweuemedo urged people of the state to pray for the entourage, saying that the trip would lead to replication of similar policy of free education in the state, stressing that the journey was in line with the ‘Industry, Industry, Industry; Factory, Factory, Factory; Job, Job, Job’ policy of the governor’s second tenure.
The statement reads: “The Rescue Mission Government in the state wishes to inform Imo people and the general public that more than 100 indigenes of the state have left for Turkey on industrial trip at the instance of the Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha and the government.
Those on the trip are mainly industrialists who are indigenes of the state, and few other personalities including selected media practitioners and businessmen. “The industrialists who constitute the bulk of the contingent are men and women whose vocations have been in various aspects of industrialisation including agro-based ventures.”
